BIOGRAPHY (by Ema):



Inspired by dark alleyways and street fights and delivering reality with aggressive riffs and tales from the hard side, Steal Your Crown began their rampage in the year of 2004, when Diogo (vocals), Vynn (guitar) and Bafo (drums) got together to make hardcore music with a tougher outlook on the world.



Since their first Demo “Two Sides Connection”, some changes have occurred, with Netz stepping in and out of the band to play both bass and guitar, and the brother Camisas (69Balls) throwing some extra strength for a while on the second guitar and on the second demo “All or None”. But it was in the beginning of 2007 and near the end of 2008, with the joining of Freddy on the bass and the later addition of Kolde to the second guitar, that the band found their core and established their ultimate line-up.
Ask anyone with true knowledge and they will tell you much from these now 5 years of existence of SYC, but there’s only one thing for sure: no one in the Portuguese Hardcore scene can say they rest untouched by the raw ferocity that the band brings into everything they do.



The Winter of 2008 finally witnessed SYC’s rightful return to the throne, in the shape of their self-titled MCD, released on Demons Run Amok Entertainment.
Recorded by Paul�o at Mad Dog Studios and mastered by Igor from the notorious Backfire/Angel Crew, the “Steal Your Crown” MCD delivers 9 war-hammers of nothing but streetly street hardcore, from the real to the real.
