International french DJ, producer at Soundgarlands Studios of Paris, multiinstrumentist remixer and singer, Blackstar started djaying at the age of 13 with the great DJs collective "Drunky Music" where he was far the youngest. Also he started to collect vinyls, CDs, turntables, instruments and studio gear at the young kids age, and never stopped since!.
Strongly influenced by hi tasty electrodance and twisted nuhouse/soul, he created the USL and mashup dj mixing style which so many djs used and adapted to theirs. As his sets are very selective, people come from very far to see him mixing.
Blackstar performs as a DJ in all countries with his reknowned hyper playlist uncompromised philosophy, which is knowned to drive young people crazzy on the floor. From Ibiza to the Rex Club of Paris, from Berlin to London, Barcelona to Sardegna, he perfectly knows how to warm an audience till the melting point. Also he did sing for the historical 2008 Funk Brother Motown concert, led by legend Jack Ashford, at the New Morning in Paris. As a permanently busy DJ, remixer or producer, he and his international netlinked team worked on countless projects, like for superstars Barbara Tucker or Carlos Santana. All of his remixes or DJ sets are designed on purpose, tailored with a maximum of creativity and efficiency. With an eye and an ear permanently focused onto the future!
