It's hard to find appropriate words for the music the seven creative heads of starch are inventing in their swiss mountain hotel. They use the soundtrack of a generation grown up simultaneously with rock, hiphop and funk to create their own highly energetic music. It's euphoric, crazy and full of artistic fantasy.
The new album „music" is the second longplayer from starch. The title sounds simple, but the musical world the seven musicians are presenting is full of color and surprises. They've been playing together for more than ten years, being known as a first class live act which rocks every stage with youthful fun and untamed energy. On the new album this becomes more obvious then ever: countless experiences of concerts, roadtrips and of the life in the old hotel the band lives in melt to an energetic music which rocks, surprises and proves great humor at the same time. You can still hear that they started off as a funk crew, but the seven musicians don't hesitate to use all the musical experience they collected over the years. On „music" they unite driving indie funk, crazy cosmopolitan rap, dizzy energetic rocksongs and everything else they've met in the past few years. In the twinkling of an eye they create a power- and colorful but still homogenous sound you haven't heard before. That's „starchmusic".
