I'm a London-born music journalist and events organiser based in Tokyo, where I watch a lot of bands and eat a lot of cake. I used to make music, like the songs on this page, but not any more. I don't use MySpace much these days, so come say hello at Facebook .Some things I do:* Manage amazing Japanese post-pop princess Natccu * Coordinate UK and US tours for Japanese bands with It Came From Japan (part of Flightpath Records & Tours) - we work with around 30 artists. Click through for the free iTunes podcast!* Organise live shows in Tokyo. The series Bad Noise! presents Tokyo's most exciting independent bands every month in Shibuya; Rogue Wave matchmakes major and independent Japanese artists every few months.* Run Japan activities for British Underground, an Arts Council-backed agency that promotes independent British music abroad. We have a monthly clubnight in Shibuya.* Release records by Bo-Peep and Levelload in Japan at Flightpath Records & Tours * Write for publications in the UK, US and Japan about music, videogames, music, culture and music - The Japan Times, Metropolis, Neo, NME, Spin, PSM3, Edge, and many more. I also write biographies and other material for bands (Puffy, Boom Boom Satellites, Ling Toshite Sigure and many more.* Speak reasonable Japanese (but not quite enough to get my head around Mixi)* Drink too much, dance too much, play videogames too much, make too much homemade ice cream and curry, and sleep too little.????????????···
