Franklyn Cean Sean Royal aka Squally Blesso was born in Jamaica September 11, 1981. Where he spent half of his life growing up with his Dad in Almantown, Kingston 4, Jamaica. He spent most of his youth days travelling back and forth from kingston to Clarendon visiting his Mom, because of the seperation of his mom and his dad. His Mom move to Clarendon and he liked it more in Kingston, so he stayed with his dad most of tha time.

He migrated to Canada when he was fourteen and travelled back and forth to Jamaica and other countries. He wanted to establish reggae music on a different level to the Canadian public. He think's that reggae has come a long way and he really admired the movement of the up and coming reggae artists such as himself.

Squally Blesso started doing reggae music at a tender age of seven, rhyming for people on his avenue in Jamaica. He continued to do the music ever since, because he discovered that it was his passion. Squally Blesso wrote his first song when he was ten on a piece of cardboard using a pencil.
