Biography ----------------------------------------------------



s.punch was created in May 2000 in Augsburg (Germany) by Matthias (Vox), Stefan (Git.) and Markus (Drums). One month later Christian (Git.) and Holger (Bass) joined the band. In July 2001 they recorded their first album 'loading.please wait'. During the recording sessions, Michael (DJ) joined the band. In autumn 2002, Holger left the band for concentrating himself on 'headlokk'. Robert (Bass) joined the band in autumn 2002. In spring 2003, s.punch recorded the first EP '16 seconds to comply'. In winter 2003, Michael and Markus left the band. Markus was replaced by Alexander (Drums). In summer 2004 s.punch recorded their second EP 'for those who came from the past'. In summer 2005 they recorded their second album 'new royal exhibition'. Finally, in summer 2007 they recorded their last album 'spiny purple ground'. In May 2008, s.punch decided to split up.

Their musical style is anchored in the hardcore music.

The emotional lyrics of the songs contrast with the violent

and desperate shouting of the frontman.
