“ Spokeman” due to his flair for being a natural born leader and spokesperson, this young man has already accomplished a lot in the industry and will stop at nothing until he reaches the top.

Spoke started Mc’in from a tender age with school mate ‘Shady’ and were known as ‘Nik nak and Toffee’ As they became more heard they discovered others in their year group that also done music. The group began to expand, and by midyear 7, they formed TMS. The group consisted of Spokeman, Messy, Shady, Smalls, Monroe, DJ Sterah and Cactus. The fan base began to rapidly grow and TMS started selling tapes of sets in various different schools due to public demand. Unfortunately, TMS members began to drift apart, but Spoke was not discouraged by this downfall, alongside member Messy, they continued to represent TMS and persevere towards their dreams of being worldwide artists.

‘Spokeman’ grew up in the council estates in Sydenham which is based in Lewisham borough, and with just his mother to provide and guide him through life’s trials and tribulations growing up was quite hard for him, and his older brother. In his local area sydenham he was quite popular for his music and then joined the crew entitled ‘HK- Hells Kitchen’ with Mc’s Blix, Speedy, Greyboi & Sketch an others from the local neighbourhood. Together, they had the ends on smash and the fan base was continuing to amplify all over South London.

He then met up with Mc Desperado of South Souldiers through the streets, they automatically clicked from the first time they met and began to make tunes together. Soon after that, Spoke and Messy joined the South Souldiers.

Finally on the long road to success, Spokeman then put out his first Mix CD entitled ‘Spoke Mix CD1’(big tunes on the CD such as ‘state your name’ ‘skeezer’ ‘broken homes’ ‘I wanna make money’ plus many more) with a collection of hot talent such as Doctor, Roadside G’s, P money, Seb Zero and may more, the CD was well received by the public and it automatically became a success.

By this time, the name was buzzing on the underground. Their regular slot on Ontop Fm 95.5 became the biggest set of the station, never failing to provide exclusives each week. With Dj Big Jim on the decks and front running mc’s Spokeman, Desperado and Messy, they had enough of their own material to play for the whole set, South Souldiers were at a nice position in the grime scene.

Also at this time, teen Spokes was also envolved in a street gang and it was at this time in his life he gained most of his street knowledge and experiences. Also mentioning the memorable Friday nights in the Yates night club in Lewisham and heavy raving in centaral London .

The group name was becoming ever so popular, the Souldiers started getting booked up to perform at various different raves and industry events including supporting act for Akon & ATL’s live concert. And features on Most grime scene Dvd’s Such as Risky Roads.

The Souldiers made a track entitled ‘heads up’ that was heard by a representative of the Don’t Trigger campaign who wanted to use to track to front the movement. The Souldiers then shot the video which was aired on all mainstream music channels such as MTV Base, The Box, Channel U, plus many more. The track was also performed live all over England and they also done special guest performances in the Mair, Ken Livingston’s office and at the Choice FM Junior Jam & Channel U Awards.

Shortly after the campaign some members of the of the group decided to leave and form a new collective leaving front running Artists Spokeman, Desperado and Messy to continue with Dj Big Jim to fly the flag as one of the hottest groups in London and they then released their Mix CD ‘Bang your heads volume 1’ hosted by Spokeman, which included new members Naughty and Frames. Again this was a huge success on the underground scene. Which was supported by allot of Djs including Bossman, Smalls, Cheeky and Big Jim.

Shortly after the Mix CD release, Spokesman’s involvement in music came to a halt and he began focusing on other things which at the time he felt would help further along the line in his music career. He was still in close contact with his group members but his back seat from music disabled him to feature on Desperado’s mix CD “Bars fr Days” and Messy’s mix CD “Messinterpretation”.

Currently Spokeman is back involved with music production and the Group is back together, stronger and more focused than ever.

Recently Spokeman shot a video alongside Desperado and amazingly talented singer Cadice for the track ‘Roll Girl’ and with a range of high profile DJs behind the track, many management/PR teams interested, and promotion on mainstream radio stations the track is set to be the anthem of 2008. As well as all this, Spokeman has been busy working on 2 of his solo Mix CD projects “Gotta get it Right” which is set to release June 1st and, the long awaited- and what he says is his official come back into the music industry ‘Spoke 2 Soon’ due for release later this summer, it is fair to say he has allot in the pipeline. He is also working with the group on the second addition, ‘Bang your Heads volume 2’ which will be including the newest member of the group, talented singer Cadice. This CD is due for release later this year. He also stated that there’s allot more other projects coming from him involving his other group members but were gonna have to just wait and see.

Over the years, Spokesman’s career has gone from strength to strength, he’s remained determined and is beginning to see the benefits of all the hard work and from the get go, Spoke has secured his role as the business mind behind all the success of both his solo career and the group South Souldiers. With the Spokeman becoming a household name to the Grime scene, – He’s definitely in line to be the SPOKESPERSON of the UK scene and set to build the biggest empire this industry has ever seen.
