Splintered Soul

Splintered Soul was formed by Chris Frost in 2006 in an attempt to create something new drawing from an extensive background of diverse musical influences. Taking inspiration from a broad range of styles (including film scores and computer game music) "Splintered Soul" went through a variety of line up changes in it's evolution and on its path to creating "Cinematic Metal". Now, producing their own unique brand of Progressive Metal and having already achieved global popularity in addition to worldwide airplay, "Splintered Soul" are finally in the process of recording their debut album "Lore". This is a highly involved and large scale project, now 6 years in the making, and is expected to launch some time in summer of 2012. As part of this album the band will be broadcasting large amounts of the recording and making of the album live over ustream and "Splintered Soul TV". "Splintered Soul" is a five piece band at present and is fronted by two talented and beautiful women in Erica and Sally Jo. Possibly the most formidable female lead duo in metal; Erica on lead vocals and Sally Jo on six string electric violin bring Splintered Soul's cinematic metal a powerful and talented voice and soul.



Recently (August 2010) Splintered Soul performed at the Bloodstock Open Air Festival, along with such acts as Meshuggah, Opeth, Sonata Arctica and Children of Bodom.
