KRUGA aka da Spitholic born June 1981 Birmingham England. First started writing music in 1993, he has been entertaining the city where he lives (Wolverhampton) since 1995 and with the scene changing every year so has he. Kruga da Spitholic is the right name for someone with so much drive an basically so much to say, he would like to think that from 1993 to 2004 was just the mess about stage with things much more real and focused now then before. The way he works sets him apart from the rest! Where he lives rappers will slag him off but its like that for most rappers, STATUS = HATERZ . With all walks in life when your doing something good people will want to stop you.
Allsaints Wolverhampton 1993, that year Kruga started to realise that putting his own words over a beat was something he enjoyed alot. After school, in school, weekends, any chance he could get to write he would. Everyone around him was doing something musically, so it was in his face all the time. When Kruga first started putting his bars down it wasn't in a studio with a producer! It was on the park late at night with his niggaz. They would have one guy tapping the slide with his key to make a beat, an in turns each nigg would give it what he had. The park got alittle hot sometimes so he went to his boy's house around the corner. His boy? His name was Dj Mistify aka LAS and he played Drum+Bass. From time to time K and his niggaz would go to Misti's house to do sets, they would record each set an play it back when they had finished in the yard with the rest of the crew. Kruga would always write new bars for each tape, it was like an addiction for him. He still has tapes of these sessions to remind himself of how long he has been doing this and where he is coming from! cause sometimes you can loose your way an get lost.
1994 was the year Kruga got his first taste of the radio airwaves, it was on a station called Underground FM near a place called west park in wolves. This was where he could get feed back on how he sounds from people who didn't know him. The show he did was a good show! with his boy LAS on the decks, it was bound to be hot. Kruga understood that being on air was good training for the path he wanted to take and with that came the Goodfellaz Crew, Dj Ej, Mda Flex, Bellus and Mc Bubbla. K became the one known as Goodfella five in a city where at the time, they were the only crew really doing anything. The Goodfellaz had it good for a while, killing the airwaves week in week out doing nights etc untill the radio got locked off and heads went their different ways.
Kruga continued to write bars and for a while found himself writing bars every day of the week. He did a few cds and gave them out around the ends, went to other radio stations to do shows etc and basically got people talking! Kruga knew a guy from the ends who was on the same station he was it got locked called Springer, and when the station came back on, they got together to do a few shows. A few shows turned into a few years of friendship an anytime you heard someone say Kruga they would say Springer! it was tite like that, untill one day Spring decided he was gonna do the show by himself and not say anything to Kruga. K put the radio on and heard him up there saying welcome to the Springer Show blar blar blair!
By now, Kruga had some good songs put down on a cd at home an thought instead of going on the radio live, just give a copy of the cd to a few Dj' s and get them to play his songs. Kruga was well into what he was doing but didn't understand the work involved just to get a peak in this game. He had a few tracks played on the radio, but didn't feel the way Djs were playing them. Some Djs would talk all over them, some would just hate an not play them, some would play them once an say they lost them etc the list goes on. Kruga felt at the time if you want something done props, then your gonna need to do it yourself so he got his own show. This show was a big luck for K to give W'ton a fresh sound on the radio, instead of all the ballocks that was on at the time. This was the same station Kruga was on when he was working with Springer! and this was time Kruga discoverd the very thin line between love an hate. more info coming shortly.
Kruga known in da endz as the workaholic, with work now taking over writing time management is very much needed. Kruga has a mixtape out called Real Headz also a DVD to follow up. Overslaught MIXTAPE is coming 2007 and is said to beeee! Well. sick, he has TB of (Datsound), Sizzla, Conman of (Wolftown) and many more sick spitters on there, you'll have to wait. Kruga is now solo!!!! With all the hate, jealously an f*ckry in the endz, setting a family was what he thought would better then working with fake pricks (you know who you are), but having a team that doesn't put in any work is not what this guy is about.
