Gli Spite Extreme Wing nascono dall'unione di Argento ( Chitarra e Voce ), Azoth ( basso e Keys ) e Fog ( Batteria ) nel 1998. Ogni membro annovera diverse precedenti esperienze con altri gruppi ( Esmegor, Abside

e Sacradis - Questi ultimi tuttora attivi ). Scelto il nome Spite Extreme Wing viene registrato il demo omonimo nel maggio del 1999. Questo viene stampato in cassetta, limitato a 500 copie, dalla Ordo Obscuri Domini nel 2000.

Nello stesso anno il gruppo firma un contratto con la Beyond. Pod. Nel 2002 esce il primo full-lenght "Magnificat". Nel 2003 Fog lascia il gruppo e al suo posto subentra Rigel - Ex batterista dei detestor e degli Antropfagus. Nell'estate del 2003 gli SEW registrano il nuovo full-lenght album - "Non Dvcor, Dvco" - dentro al Forte Geremia, costruzione militare ottocentesca sita sui monti liguri del Faiallo. L'intero album viene registrato sperimentando l'utilizzo dei soli riverberi naturali. Nell'estate 2004 esce per Behemoth Prod "Non Dvcor, Dvco". Dopo questo secondo full-lenght torna dietro le pelli Fog.

Nel marzo del 2005 il gruppo registra in presa diretta "Kosmokrator" ( Magnificat pare II ) all'interno d'un luogo incredibile : una chiesa romano-gotica del ponente ligure costruita nel XII secolo dai magistri Antelami. Vengono così utilizzati, anche questa volta, solo riverberi naturali.

L'album è formato da vecchi pezi ('95/00) mai registrati per cause contigenti, non è quindi da considerarsi un nuovo lavoro, bensi un completamento di Magnificat, che già rappresenta un compendio di anni d'attività. "Kosmokrator" è stampato nel luglio 2005. Il gruppo sta attualmente lavorando al nuovo album il cui titolo sarà "VLTRA".



CHAPTER I - related to "Magnificat" (2002)



«In the immensity of these years Ive been looking forward to this moment: to stop the alchemistic Silentium with a record going through the whole brief but intense history of the group. What you have in your hands is the expression of my spirit, so it will not be easy to you to find the key to penetrate the deep inmosting grounding my work. This record musics and magnifies the esoteric travel that years ago I began as a parallel path to my normal life, a travel that I couldnt escape from, in a world created by the waves of my sound, in a world that is source of inspiration and result of the inspiration too. I hope my music let you see what I've seen and felt along these years, I hope my esoteric fairy carries you where only fews can arrive . This travel is almost ended, but I'm ready to restart and, if I'll be back, I stop the Silentium again. The flame of my spirit burns because "my soul lived like ten thousands"!

Everything was yearned / and everything was tried.

What I didn't / I dreamt; / and so was the ardour /that the dream equaled the act.



To conclude: I pray the Sun my father, "from the bottom of the deads cave to the top of the kings chappel, to translate my Magnificat with fire and fury letters" so that it will be given back what we loved as we, because it flowed in our veins, burned in our hearts and intoxicated our minds».

CHAPTER II - related to "Non Dvcor, Dvco" (2004)



«The spite extreme wing of the modern age. Black Metal is to us the violent and revolutionary reference to the world of tradition. A pure European expressive form. Differently from folk traditional or pre-modern instruments aren't used, with the Black Metal the modern civilization is disembodied using its dirty means. Here is the originality of the suggestion, its the avant-gardism of the idea: the Archeofuturism.

Archeofuturism doesn't mean not to accept the positivism or the straight-line vision of history, it means to go ahead restarting from strong basis: from the ancient and the traditional knowledge».
