SP Studios/-SP- Audio © Formerly known as ‘SP Mafia Studios’ was created by SP (Strictly Paper) a sound engineer as a recording studio for beginners to professional recording artists & Producers to produce high quality Tracks. The Studio was built in spring 2006 originally as an output for the music scene in the Greenwich borough and created a rising hype amongst the youth community with the catchy trade mark ’SP MAFIA ON BUTTOONNNSS’, SP Studios/- SP- Audio © became the name on every track recorded by popular groups in the borough ‘Game Over, I Double L & TBM’. With Tracks like the popular ’Afrikan Boy - One Day I Went To Lidl’ spreading around the UK Summer 2006 this encouraged C.E.O. SP to branch out of the borough and take a more professional approach to the business. SP began managing various bands, solo artists, producers and other projects many of these artists have become well known in the public eye and have been seen and heard of on radio sets, mix CDs & Public performances. Earlier last year Tinie Tempah’s Manager Richie Montana and producer/engineer Danny C have been helping SP take a more professional approach to his work and have aided him in diversifying into a more mainstream/commercial genre. SP Personal Bio: SP would like to stress first of all that SP Mafia was and still is 2 separate people entirely, him being the SP on buttons that most are familiar with and Mafia at the time being involved with the promotion & advertising management. SP is a self taught producer/studio engineer who prides himself at being the best at whatever he applies himself to. His respect in the music scene from younger to older generations has always been his motivation to keep heading towards his goals. One day SP aims to own his record label in the future with a chain of studios around the UK with the hopes of successfully bringing through many talented artists. Because SP taught himself he understands the difficulty involved at times to get the help and advice needed for running a studio & managing artists and welcomes anyone that is looking for guidance to get in contact with him.
