Now on to sparq's bio:

This brotha was initially drawn into music, more specifically hip-hop, growing up in Hollis, Queens, while watching his cousin hang out with the rising to legend status likes of Run DMC, Jam Master Jay, LL Cool J and Eric B. & Rakim in the streets of Queens and also lived down the block from super producer Rockwilder. Being drawn to the circuit as a lot of young cats are in 1985 Sparq started out as a DJ for parties and the usual fare. It didnt take long before he became more and more fascinated with drum lines and the beat behind the beats and he soon began experimenting with and creating his own. Production of music behind the scenes seemed to be his niche where he could be a storyteller without having to say a word he was a part of the story being spun by the MC. Every great movie has a soundtrack to hold it together and to drive it home and Sparq's driving beats and rhythms have become the MCs soundtrack.



He's watched, listened and honed in on the different directions that hip hop has turned and now feels like he could be one of those people who helps it turn yet another page in its long, complicated and prevalent history by flowing into the hearts and minds of a new set of fans. This set not only wants to hear their hip hop but wants their hip hop to make em feel something. The set ready to go to the next level where the music gives ya something to nod your head to, the lyrics give ya something to think about but the rhythms reach out and touch your soul. Sparq is a man who believes that music is life and life makes the music but more importantly that music plus rhythm equals life on any and all levels.
