Spaint

SPAINT was formed in autumn 2005 in Moscow, Russia. A few months later, in spring 2006, SPAINT released a 3-tracks promo showing the band’s musical conception, which included a variety of different influences and moods. The songs were a mix of traditional metal riffing, solos, groove parts, atmospheric keyboards and harsh/clean vocals, all together making quite an individual, vast (yet complete) musical panorama. Later, SPAINT have remained true to those components in their music, as well as to the bi-lingual (Russian-English) lyrical approach. From the very beginning SPAINT start proving themselves as a strong live force by playing regular gigs in Moscow and other Russian towns.
The first SPAINT’s full album was released in January 2008 via the Moscow independent label MAZZAR RECORDS. The album consisted of 9 tracks and was entitled "Tsep' Pritiajeniya" (Chain of Gravity). The album release was supported by dozens of gigs in Russia and Ukraine. Label’s promo-campaign (reviews, interviews, TV appearances etc.) also allowed SPAINT to spread their name in the rock/metal underground.
