Southern Hostility

Stone Thrower is a blues/metal band that formed in Athens, Ga. in 2006. The band relocated to Nashville, Tn. in 2009. This band is more of a "throw back!" Influenced more by bands like Black Sabbath, The Allman Brothers Band, and Led Zeppelin than of bands of recent year. Stone Thrower has and will always combine aspects of doom metal and stoner metal mixed with some southern and classic rock. Rest assured though, Stone Thrower can bring the heavy as well as anyone! Songs like "Into Darkness", "VRA", "Brethren," have Stone Thrower poised to make their mark as one of America's best bands!
