Southern Gigs & Promotions

Southern Gigs & Promotions was founded by Mark Ackland in mid 2006 when he was only 16 years of age. Using their own funding, Southern Gigs & Promotions pride themselves on organising first rate shows.



In the four years since the company's inception, Southern Gigs & Promotions have achieved great things. The main highlights include; being asked by Truth Inc Records to help promote the "Against The Grain" metal festival, co-working with Asphyxia on their album launch - which according to owner of the Underground, Andrew, was "One of the Greatest shows at the Underground ever" - and setting an all time attendance record at the South Adelaide Football Club with a massive 325 payers!
