Port Gibson, Miss. - Big T is a rap/soul artist out of Mississippi. Big T is passionate about his music. He calls himself a street poet and yet still an average person from the neighborhood. When he writes, he writes about his life experiences, then transforms them into a lyrical wonder. His stories are told in a very dramatic fashion, giving people the reality of life in general, whether it be cruel or inspirational. “I once said at the beginning of a track; ‘Meger Evers, or…Martin Luther, …or maybe Emmit Till –cause see I am the Future!’. I said that through the eyes of everyone who was part of the struggle.” There is meaning and a mission to his songs even if its "Trap" Musiz!
Inspirations in Big T’s life was his Grandmother. She raised him when no one else was around - looking into her eyes for a meaning of life, for guidance and inspiration. The passing of this remarkable woman in 2009 was the worst thing that could have happened to him and he’s been through a lot.
Big T has rocked the same stage as for T.I.,Jim Jones, Trina, Jada Kiss, G-Unit, Dougie Fresh, Mike Jones,Bone Crusher, Nappy Roots, and on and on. He does plenty of shows coast to coast. Not to mention a few cameo appearances on television and in a few videos. You can also listen to his live radio show, "Da SouthernBoi Hr" hosted by BigT & Webb on - 89.7FM WSHC (www.897WSHC.org) in W.Virginia, Virginia,(DMV) Maryland and Pennsylvania. He's currently working with some major Mixtape Dj's and future releases as well for 2010 & 2011.
There is a new project which will be released in March, 2010 titled, “SouthernBoi Entertainment Presents…The BigT Chronicles” w/ DJ Noize (Germany). Also in Late 2010, Big T will be releasing, “Kush Nation”.
