SOUNDXS

Sound XS started out as a solo project. It all began in 2005 when Stephane decided to go it alone when his previous band split. In 2006 Claire joined the band to sing on the new tracks and write some of the lyrics.
In September of that year, Sound XS won the Pure Demo contest (www.puredemo.be), which got them their first radio broadcast.
The following two years were spent creating the new tracks which would become the band's first album.
In May 2009, Fabrice 'Boods' Baudour, former founding member of Starving, became Sound XS's third band member, playing guitar and bass, adding a new layer of sound, making it edgier and more intense, particularly for the live performances.
Sound XS's draws its main inspiration from the cold and mechanical electronic music of the 80s to create modern dance tunes. Influences are wide and varied, from Fad Gadget to Goldfrapp, including Depeche Mode, Killing Joke and Nine Inch Nails.
In April 2010 Sound XS grew again with the arrival of Quentin Daumal on the drums, creating a more intense live sound.
Sound XS has already performed in Brussels and Wallonia and built up a good live reputation. In November 2010 the band have supported Front242. Further gigs will be announced on the band's MySpace and their Facebook page.
