Soundscape Records

Established in 2001, Soundscape Records has remained at the forefront of Malaysian independent music movement for the past decade. Like many indie labels, Soundscape Records started out as an one man operation, run from its founder – Mak's bedroom.
Early releases by the likes of R.U.SH, Lang Mang and Nao established the label with the Chinese indie music fans, but it did not take long for Soundscape to widen its fan base and expand its influence, thanks to its continual efforts and undying passion in music experimentation.
Being one of the well-loved imprints in the recent years, Soundscape is not resting on its laurels and will continue to inject creativity and vigor into local indie music scene.
