September 29th, 1988 a young man was born by the name of Jordan Anthony Irwin in New Bern N.C. at the marines military base. Shortly after birth his parents moved back to Nashville, TN. His mother worked two jobs and his father really wasn't much of a father, so around the age of three his mother decided to go back to school. So he moved with his grandparents in a small town in west TN by the name of Savannah while his mother earned her degree at Tennessee State University. Every summer he would come back to Nashville and stay with her in her apartment in North Nashville which is also where his best friend Josh aka Cheese lived. While staying with his grandparents Jordan was first introduced to hip-hop when he found some of his fathers old c.d.'s such as 8ball & MJG, UGK, Playa Fly and others. He would sit for hours on hand just listening and reciting lyrics from the artist, eventually this led to him writing his own lyrics and verses. When Jordan began high school he moved back to Nashville with his mother for good. His first year he attended Overton high school where he played freshman basketball and also began to rap. While at Overton he met a friend by the name of Brandon who also rapped, they began reciting lyrics which each other and freestyling in class together. Now Jordan was skilled when it came to the mic the only problem was he didn't have a name, so while he was freestyling one day his best friend Cheese said that his lyrics were ill. They both then soon realized that ill was a perfect name. During the next to years of high school J-iLL transferred to Antioch high where he continued to perfect his craft and meet alot of very important and influencial people in his life, including his other two brothers Shaggy and Ernest aka Pooh. His senior year of high school J-iLL made the decision to transfer schools once again this time back to north nashville to attended Pearl- Cohn. During his time at Pearl J-iLL made alot of enemies and friends including Lil' Bizzy. His music was growing and so was he. Now he is a student a Middle Tennessee State University and majoring in Recording Industry, he already has one mixtape under his belt and is currently finishing up his secound entitled "Da Young Hustle". Schedueled for an April release J-iLL is such to make some noise going into the 08 summer. And as always "Get Money or DIE"
