Sound Dialect

Sound Dialect (SD) is a Seattle based hip-hop production company headed by Udie Chima. Solely dedicated to his craft Udie likes to create soundscapes that are raw, but do not compromise their beauty. Stunning and compelling, SD sounds have dirt under their fingernails.



Udie tries to bring out a fresh and spontaneous style to incorporate that introspective feel that is native to Seattle's personality. While prefering to let the music speak for itself, many small and big-time artists have recognized SD for its twist on beauty, approach of excitement, and question of subtleness.



SD has worked with both rising talent and established artists. Udie is proud to announce a recent collaboration with Ricky Pharoe, Grynch, Grieves, and the lovely Ms. Karter. SDs continued projects include its work with the young politically charged rapper Scribes and the emerging Seattle rapper Kublakai.
