Formed in late 2003, Soulfracture went through various member changes before finding a stable line up in early 2005 with Glen (vocals) Nathan (bass) Chris (guitar) and Arron (drums). After recording a few rough demos online, Soulfracture made their debut live appearance supporting Swedish death metallers Visceral Bleeding at Josephs Well in Leeds. A few months later and with more gigs under their belt, Soulfracture began looking for, and quickly found, a second guitarist in Nads (formally of Then The Rains Came) who made his debut at Dungeonfest 05. Soulfracture have since played great shows with bands such as Testament, All Shall Perish, Suicide Silence, The Red Chord, Textures, Abigail Williams, Hecate Enthroned, Narcosis, Raise the Dead and Everette, and entered the studio in October 2006 to record their debut album 'Ashes of Existence' on Thirty Days of Night Records, which was released in February 2007 and gained several great reviews.

Soulfracture went on to play with bands such as Napalm Death, Aborted and Kataklysm, along with an appearance at the 2007 Damnation Festival featuring Anaal Nathrakh, Kreator and Amen. In December 2007, Nads left the band due to work commitments, and a replacement was found in the form of Alex, formally of ATT. Soulfracture are currently writing material for a new EP, to be recorded in April 2008. If anyone needs logos for their flyers, theres 2 here: - Logo 1 :: Logo 2 -

CD:

"It seems fitting that the best release yet on Leeds-based Thirty Days Of Night Records should come from a band straight out of the label's home town." -

MONTAG PRESS

"Soulfracture, despite still being a local Leeds band playing in front of a relatively small crowd every week or two, small being local and supporting the odd bigger bands on their way through. It will be said in one opinion, this is not were they deserve to be, the calibre of a band such as this should not be left ignored." -

Metal Team UK

"Opening with some ominous samples before the double-bass and guitar barrage starts, and then it whips through you without a moment to relax. Its full on from the off." -

Die Shellsuit, Die!

"Hailing from the same stomping ground as living dead ghouls Send More Paramedics, Soulfracture are, like bordering city Sheffield, injecting Leeds with a hefty dose of british steel." -
