Sophia J

Sophia J is a singer/songwriter who likes to write anything from dance, Electro-pop, soul and rock. She is self-taught on both piano and guitar and has even turned to producing her own material building her own home studio.

After just graduating from LIPA with a degree in music (2:1 BA (Hons), Sophia is trying out different projectssongwriting for adverts, producing new dance and alternative tracks, performing at Mahiki Club, working with different producers, whilst currently working at Universal Music in London.



Sophia loves to re-arrange covers. Usually she mixes these in her set list with her original tracks. You may hear 'Heard it through the Gravepine (performed live in the video below).

Being a young artist, songwriter, and now producer is never easy and still Sophia is always changing her style. Liking a broad variety of music has enabled Sophia J as a songwriter to write for any genre. Whether its a slow ballad, or a heavy drum and bass track Sophia's voice suits it all and in her own way.
