LA BANDA CONMOCIÓN: RITUAL DE LO HABITUAL
Más que un grupo, La Banda Conmoción es un colectivo, diecinueve músicos que gozan tocando en medio de la gente y sobre el escenario. En sus presentaciones no es raro verlos bajar con sus instrumentos, tocando mientras se acomodan entre el público, ahí todo se convierte en un delirante carnaval, una gran fiesta en medio del cemento. La Banda Conmoción es una tropa, una familia que toca junta hace 7 años, y tal vez por eso es que en lugar de discos, sólo han dejado recuerdos para quienes tuvieron la suerte de estar ahí. Partieron el año 2001 como proyecto musical paralelo a los montajes de Teatro Mendicantes, siguieron su recorrido en matrimonios, bautizos y funerales, antes de llegar a los escenarios (año 2005).
Lo suyo es el formato instrumental del tambo nortino, las fiestas de pueblo,la cumbia, el porro, las cuyahuadas, el vals, el bolero, el San juanito, diríamos que esta gran Banda a formado sus cimientos en su amor a la música de nuestra Latinoamérica y hace unos años han incluido repertorio de la música gitana, Así lo han hecho, extendiendo y difundiendo esta música con la energía que los caracteriza, , todo mezclado, como si fueran la banda sonora de una salitrera aún en funcionamiento. La Banda Conmocion en estos años ha compartido escenario con artistas como Mankasaya, Arak Pacha, Mauricio Redoles, Manuel Sanchez, Alfonso Rubio, Los Mentaos, Los trukeros, Escuela Chinchin tirapie, Juana Fe, La Mano Ajena, Chico Trujillo, La Floripondio, Los Fiscales adok, Los Miserables, Patogallina Saundmachin, Sonora Palacios, Sinergia, Anita Tijoux, Escaso aporte, Sonora de llegar, Sol y Lluvia, Francesca Ancarola, Jose Sevez, Banda Fuerza Maestra , Banda Proyección, La todo mal orquesta, Es Comediant ,entre varios.
SONIDO ESENCIAL
Son siete años de desplazamiento promoviendo una sonoridad que no necesita del suministro eléctrico y que ha permitido a la Banda Conmoción llegar a diversos parajes, otorgando una experiencia que se plasma en su primer trabajo de estudio bautizado como “Sonido Esencial”.
Tinkus, cha-cha-cha, cumbias y ritmos gitanos, escuchados en las bandas instrumentales peruanas, bolivianas y los papayeros de Colombia, además de las fanfarrias gitanas de la región de los Balcanes son las influencias de las que se nutre.
Los temas presentes en la producción son de autoría de la banda y fueron gestados desde el año 2005. Si bien las grabaciones fueron realizadas en Chile, el trabajo de mezcla tuvo lugar en Postdam, Alemania y la masterización está en la última etapa en Berlín.
El lanzamiento de “Sonido Esencial” está calendarizado para el 12 de noviembre en Matucana 100.
More than a band "la conmocion" is an artistic colective, nineteen musician who enjoy playing among the people and over the stage. it isn't weard to see them putting their instruments down during their presentations, playing while they get comfortable among their audence, then everything becomes into a delirious carnival, and a big party on the concrete. The Conmocion Band is a troup, a family which plays together for 7 years by now, and maybe that's why instead of records, their memories are only in those who had have the pleasure of being there. they strated in 2001 as a pararel musical proyect of the Mendicantes, next, they followed playing in ceremonies like marriages, baptism and funerals, before they get to the stages in 2005.
They are attached to the intrumental northern tambo, traditional parties, the cumbia, el porro, the cuyahuadas, vals, the bolero, the San juanito. We dare to say they have choose as their roots the love their have to the latin american music, and since some years by now they are included some gypsy music; and that is how their are extendeded and spread their music, with their characteristic style, mixing as if they were some saltpeter stillworking band. the Conmocion band has shared latelly te scenary with artists like Mankasaya, Arak Pacha, Mauricio Redoles, Manuel Sanchez, Alfonso Rubio, Los Mentaos, Los trukeros, Escuela Chinchin tirapie, Juana Fe, La Mano Ajena, Chico Trujillo, La Floripondio, Los Fiscales adok, Los Miserables, Patogallina Saundmachin, Sonora Palacios, Sinergia, Anita Tijoux, Escaso aporte, Sonora de llegar, Sol y Lluvia, Francesca Ancarola, Jose Sevez, Banda Fuerza Maestra , Banda Proyección, La todo mal orquesta, Es Comediant ,among some others.
"Sonido Esencial" (essential sound), for seven years they have been promoting the soung which doesn't need electricity and this has allowed the band to get to many places giving the people the experience of their first work called "Sonido Esencial". Tinkus, cha-cha-cha, cumbias and gypsy rithms, listened in the perubian and bolivian instrumental bands, and the papayians from Colombia, besides the gypsy fanfares form the balcanic region are the influences nursering this record. The subjects presented in this production are written and composed by the band and they were gested during 2005. eventhough it was recorded in Chile, the mixing was made in Postdam, Alemania and the masterization is on its last stage in Berlín. the release of "Sonido Esencial" is dated to november 12th at Matucana 100 in Santiago-Chile.
BANDE “CONMOCIÓN”: RITUEL DE L’HABITUEL Plus qu’un groupe, la Bande “Conmoción” est un collectif: Dix-neuf musiciens qui jouissent en jouant au milieu des gens et sur scène. Pendant ses présentations, ce n’est pas rare de les voir descendre avec ses instruments en s’accomodant entre le publique. Là, tout se transforme en un délirant carnaval, une énorme fête au milieu du béton. La Bande “Conmoción” est une troupe, une famille qui joue ensemble depuis sept ans. C’est peu-être pour ça qu’au lieu de disques, ils ont juste laissé le souvenir chez ceux qui ont eu la chance d’être là. Ils ont débuté l’année 2001 comme un projet musical paralèle aux montages du Théâtre “Mendicantes” et ont continué leur circuit dans des mariages, baptêmes et funérailles, jusqu’à leur arrivée sur scène en l’an 2005. Leur format est l’instrumental du Nord du Chili, les fêtes de villages, la “cumbia”, le “porro”, les “cayahuadas”, le vals sudaméricain, le boléro, le “San Juanito”, disons que cette Bande a forgé ses ciments dans l’amour de la musique de nôtre Amérique Latine, rythmes qu’ils mélangent depuis quelques années avec la musique gitane. C’est ainsi qu’ils avancent, en étendant et partageant leur musique avec l’énergie qui les caracterise, comme s’ils étaient la bande sonore d’une ancienne station férrovière de l’époque du salpêtre. Durant toutes ces années, la Bande “Conmoción” a partagé le scénario avec des artistas comme Mankasaya, Arak Pacha, Mauricio Redoles, Manuel Sanchez, Alfonso Rubio, Los Mentaos, Los trukeros, Escuela Chinchin tirapie, Juana Fe, La Mano Ajena, Chico Trujillo, La Floripondio, Los Fiscales adok, Los Miserables, Patogallina Saundmachin, Sonora Palacios, Sinergia, Anita Tijoux, Escaso aporte, Sonora de llegar, Sol y Lluvia, Francesca Ancarola, Jose Sevez, Banda Fuerza Maestra , Banda Proyección, La todo mal Orchestre, Es Comediant ,entre autres.
SON ESSENTIEL
Sept ans de déplacements et promotion d’une sonorité qui n’exige pas d’électricité ont permis à la Bande “Conmoción” d’arriver aux recoins les plus divers, et leur ont offert l’expérience qui se déploie dans leur premier album baptisé “Son Essentiel”.
Les “Tinkus”, le “cha cha cha”, les “cumbias” et les rythmes gitans qu’on peut trouver dans les bandes instrumentales péruviennes, boliviennes et les “papayeros” de la Colombie, ainsi que les fanfarrons gitans de la région del Balcans sont les influences qui nourrissent la Bande.
Les pièces présentes dans la production musicale sont toutes des compositions de la Bande qui s’engendrent comme un grand tissu depuis 2005. Si bien les enregistrements ont été réalisés au Chili, les mélanges ont eu lieu à Postdam, en Allemagne, tandis que la masteurisation est dans sa dernière étape à Berlin.
Le lancement du “Son Essentiel” est calendarisé pour le 12 Novembre à “Matucana 100” (Santiago).
