Thanks for checking out my space site. My name is Lusia. I was born in Poland. Since I was a little girl I had a desire to play the piano. I could not afford a piano and nothing was going to stop me from playing, so I drew the keyboard on a piece of paper and that is how I practiced until my parents bought me one. As they say, "if there is a will there is a way". Now I play for enjoyment and teach others.
One day I thought about how the world is divided and what we can all do as a human race to unite us. Only thru music can we achieve these dreams. So my friends and I created a site, www.Songweavers.com ,where the whole world can join together and make music in all languages from any parts of the world and watch a song be born. Together, we can all make these dreams and process unfold. Music is the sole common concept that we all share and that unites us regardless of race, religion, or color. This site allows anyone from their own home create music in any language or create music with others. Just imagine your song/music/lyrics/poetry being heard in another part of this world. The exposure is enormous. Your might be discovered by someone in Europe, Asia, Africa or Antarctica. You can record, publish your own work, get heard, promote, distribute and market yourself in anyway you wish. You can also get help; get ideas from other musicians, composers and lyrists. Songweavers allows you to upload, download songs that you like and all is for FREE. Yes, even the membership is for FREE. Take a minute, give your opinions, ideas or any other comments you wish to make. Our goal is for Songweavers to unite the world and we cannot do it without your help. So tell everyone you know to join in. It's a rough road but one worth traveling. Even if we do not reach everyone but you and your music will be responsible for uniting us all.

The entire project was made possible by our friends at Songweavers.com, a web site dedicated to promoting musical collaboration, by breaking down the barriers between people, be they geographical, racial, religious, stylistic and even those of unequal or no musical backgrounds whatsoever.
Shimon Peres, the current President of the state of Israel, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and visionary, was the first to realize the peace making potential of this project and he penned the lyrics to a song named "Ray of Hope" which he donated to Songweavers.com. Members from all over the world, including Israel, Iran, Turkey, Germany, Poland, Tanzania, Spain, the Netherlands, Canada, Sweden, UK, Italy, Australia, Spain, Romania, Kazakhstan, Austria and the US rallied up and created many different and beautiful versions of this song. 29 of them are collected on this double CD set.
