The brain child of Janne Bodgan, the Soneros All Stars brings together some of the top musicians on the Havana music scene from major Cuban bands.

Born of a collaboration between Cuban vocalist Pascual 'Sinsonte' Matos and Stockholm tres-player Janne Bogdan, the Soneros All Stars have created a sound both folkloric and modern.

The driving force and relentless spirit behind this project is the tres-player and producer Janne 'Yanesito' Bogdan of Stockholm. Janne's hard hitting tres-cubano, accompanied by All-Star Cuban musicians, has become a classic Cuban music project in a very short while, In addition to Janne on tres and 'Sinsonte' , 'Mandy', 'Pepito' and Cristina Azcuy on lead vocals the musician roster read like a who's who of elite Cuban musicians, featuring stars of Los Van Van, Elio Revé y Su Charangon, Bamboleo, Pupy y Los Que Son Son, Sierra Maestra and Isaac Delgado.

The fortuitous international encounter between Janne and his Cuban stars is proving fruitful again. There latest album 'La Timba Soy Yo', due for release 2008 bearing the signature of Cesar 'Pupy' Pedroso's unmistakable sound on piano peppered with Janne's tres-cubano. The new album featuring a mix of son-cubano, changüí and songo with a modern twist. Still keeping a foot in traditional sound traditions, but with a rougher, street harsh timba rhythm.

In 2004 Janne Bogdan completed the project that started as a conversation with Pascual 'Sinsonte' Matos around Janne's dinner table. The result was 'Dime Nagüe', a CD of modern changüí and one of the best releases of the year regarding to descarga.com among others.

The recording, 'Dime Nagüe', is an album that sounds urban without ever loosing touch with the rural atmosphere that constitutes the very essence of the soul of Guantánamo. Characteristic of 'Dime Nagüe', apart from its strong folk roots, is the singing of Pascual 'Sinsonte' Matos, also known as 'Sinsonte' due to his distinctive sound and extensive repertory. 'Sinsonte' was raised in the province of Guantánamo, in the town of Moa, a three-hour journey from the mountain village of Yateras where the genre of changüí was born in the beginning of the 20th century. After being discovered in 1994 by the master of changüí, Elio Revé, he moved to Havana where he ended up working for ten years with Elio Revé y su charangón.

“K.O. in the first round! That's how this brand new release makes you feel after one listen.” (Salsa Power)

“Wow! With the power of an unexpected slap in the face, 'Dime Nagüe' just may be the hottest Cuban salsa-son release of the year.” (Descarga.com) These are just a few of the raving accolades that the album 'Dime Nagüe' (2004) by Soneros All Stars garnered worldwide.
