Somnambulist Quintet showcases the unique music of Darren Johnson.



Crafted and carefully constructed entirely digitally, these electronic jazz pieces emulate a tense and organic tone whilst finding themselves injected with a modern electronic influence throughout.



The sax, brass and whole percussion section is entirely - and painstakingly! - programmed to mimic and help to reproduce a strikingly authentic sounding jazz atmosphere.



Each track is mapped out and built to progress through a natural course of growth and musical exploration. This means there are many pleasantly surprising twists and turns to be found within.
