Soblivios formed on April Fool's Day in 2002 when members of Seattle based bands Anger MGMT with DJ Trip, Thug and Chinshot met each other in Belltown, and discovered that they had the ingredients to create an amazing sound together.
Soblivios gigged incessantly as a five piece until creative differences with
Trip led to his early departure in 2004. Still, with incendiary frontman "Bo"
on lead vocals, Soblivios continued to rock the shit out of every stage they played on, sharing the bill with acts such as Prong, Hed p.e., Powerman 5000, Adema and Static-X, just to name a few, but were eventually brought to a standstill when Bo suddenly left the top drawing Seattle act in early 2006 due to personal reasons.
Left in limbo without a frontman, the band recruited guitarist Brad Hull-formerly of the underground thrash act, Forced Entry, to play lead guitar, as the rest of the band focused on taking over the vocals. Adding some shredding solos and some backing vocal harmonies had created a new sound for Soblivios, and the band continued to rock the Northwest.

Soblivios has relocated to Spokane, Wa., as of January 2007. The band held on to a long distance relationship with guitarist, Scotty, who still lives in the Seattle area, for over a year until finally deciding to make a fresh start with some local musicians. We wish the best to our good friends Scotty Lane and Brad Hull, we created some amazing shit that can never be duplicated.
Guitarist Scott "Skip Dog" Jensen, formerly of the band Chinshot, has taken over on guitar. His "drop A" tuning has convinced us to write new songs and create yet another new sound for Soblivios. Lead singer and bassist Jason Shumaker, as well as drummer Paul Marshall teamed up with Skip Dog and created the new sound. Balls out vocals and a rythmically driven, thick grinding sound create the new energy of Soblivios.

Since then, Paul Marshall has left the band. Best of luck to our friend Bulldog. Joel Prophet of the band 'Pulseless' has joined Soblivios and has given us a new inspiration to start incorporating more styles to our music. We are also proud to announce that Aaron Goff has joined Soblivios on lead guitar. The chemistry is undeniable and we can't wait to share it with you! After many years of thrashing and bashing through several lineup changes, we are in a good place and are writing some of the best music of our career. Watch for Soblivios around the Northwest in the near future blowing the doors off of night clubs and concert houses! SEE YOU SOON.
