So Be iT's Biography -

RICHIE'S BIO- I started playing guitar about 1985-1986 and started singing in about 1989. I have played around the North Mississippi area with several rock bands from 1988-1997. Rox Zone, Impact, Beggar's Trick, and Madhatter to name a few. I started going to Church regularly in 1999 and decided to play to a different crowd. I've been playing in Church for the past 8 years and we put together So Be iT in January 2006. Things are really popping for us now. We have a debut album out! God is blessing!

CODY'S BIO- First off, I want to thank God for giving me ALL my talents. I play lead guitar, drums and bass. I concentrate on lead guitar mostly though.

I have been playing lead for about seven years now. I learned by watching my Uncle Richie jam out in the back bedroom of his house thinking about how cool it would be to play with his band. I was very young then and never thought that we would be playing together now. I started practicing and I would play guitar in all my free time. I would practice hours on in listening to cds then restarting them and playing along. When I got good enough, I started playing in my families southern gospel group. Years went on and we quit playing out when my Pop started pastoring our church. I kept wanting the rock star dream but doing it for Jesus. I kept playing and in 99' Uncle Richie got in church and started playing on stage with me. In December 2005, I started wanting to play more and more to try to reach people with my music. And no sooner than I started feeling that, Uncle Richie approached me and wanted to start playing on Friday nights and practicing. Well Uncle Jody (drummer) was up for it so it began. Since then we have came a long way. God is truly blessing this band. I love this! I dream of playing our own show in front of about 15,000 people and if we only reach one person, then it was worth it. I would like to thank all the people who supported me and believed in me. And to all the critics, good news only, I rebuke your negativity. God bless everyone of you and we hope to see you next time.

JODY'S BIO- I started learning to play the drums in a wheelchair with a crushed leg. I would listen to Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs sing Wooly Booly and The Happy Goodmans sing the Old Gospel Ship. I am self employed, but I dream of something MUCH BIGGER.
