Snakebite are a four piece heavy metal band from South-East London, offering up a heart-stopping cocktail of classic rock groove, hell-for-leather thrash and a seemingly endless torrent of gargantuan riffs. Armed with an obstreperous BEAST of a live show,

Originally formed in 2003 and having undergone a number of line-up changes since then, the band has now settled on a crack squad of elite heavy metal mercenaries, equal to the demands of even the most suicidal of missions. Most recently these have included a very well-received set at Wacken Open Air 2010, the world capital of heavy metal, and even the honour of opening the Ronnie James Dio stage at Bloodstock 2010 (on a bill featuring such heavyweights as Opeth, Children of Bodom,. Messhugah, Fear Factory, Twisted Sister, Devin Townsend and more)!
Having also played Bloodstock's Unsigned Stage in 2009 - courtesy of the Metal 2 The Masses initiative - and having played regularly throughout the UK, the combo are now a well-oiled gigging machine, effortlessly mesmerising all and sundry with a winning combination of energy, hooks, attitude and, above all, RIFFS.

On the back of these recent successes, Snakebite are now compiling material for their full-length debut album, expected to appear early in 2011. Says front man Jason Smith of the coming cacophony, "A mass avalanche of riff upon riff, our EP 'never grow' was us warming to our line up, as Andrew hadn't been with us for very long at the time. Our new release is Snakebite settled, and after years of drinking and thinking together, 100's of shows and 100's of gallons of petrol, our aggro-rock will get your blood pumping and your heads banging, we're excited about this".
Snakebite's sights are now firmly set on spreading their (loud) message to all four corners of the globe and, ultimately, the whole of the omniverse. GET INVOLVED!
