Biography: Smosh is Jorge Peñaloza Rodriguez, a young talented and diverse Mexican producer living in Morelia. Jorge is a long time DJ and producer and a student of audio engineering. Growing up on miscellaneous electronica, whether it’s Air, Global Underground, Paul Oakenfold, Ministry of Sound, Renaissance or the Chemical Brothers, and already DJing as a young teenager, he was exposed to Trance music and decided to start producing his own material. He has diverse tastes in Trance and an open mind, favoring and drawing influence from Astrix, Ticon, Moonbeam, GMS, Wrecked Machines, Sub6, Krome Angles & Pixel among others. He also collaborated with other producers such as Han Solo, Lamat, The Ataries, Shake, System Bug, Stalker and Answer. Smosh has been DJing and performing around Mexico in many parties and venues. Smosh debut album - Connecting Worlds - is released in June, 2009.
