There are two sides to every great story. In this case, they are the two masterminds behind the latest and greatest in UK ’s underground hip hop. Married couple Smooflow and Roucheon. Together they are The Royalpriesthood. This married dynamic duo came to us with superb lyrics laced over bumpin inhouse production which has earned them respect in the uk hip hop scene



They have also produced beats for the likes of Naila Boss, Randy and J Rock from Big Brovaz, Phoebe 1, Ace from Ace and invisible and others.



In 2005 and 2004 duo were nominated for the Best Unsigned Act at the URBAN MUSIC AWARDS.



In 2002 and 2003 he entered the MOBO UNSUNG and made it to the semi finals both years. They have been well recognised for his talents and were nominated in the category for best hip-hop artist at the OASIS AWARDS 2002. They was nominated for best hip hop at 'Hip Hop AWARDS 2002.



Royalpriesthood are members Smooflow (mc/producer) and Roucheon (mc/ singer), a dynamic duo who continue to earn respect with their consistent sound of authentic soul infused hip-hop. This husband and wife team offer superb lyrics laced over bumping in-house production, and have recently added video production to their growing empire.



Founded ten years ago and five albums deep they have gained much experience and developed a passion to inspire both lyrically and musically. In 2002 they pioneered a self funded anti-gun crime event called ‘Urban truths’ which was a movement geared toward highlighting the ever growing gun and violent related issues in our communities, working alongside organisations such as ‘Mothers against guns’ and with the support of local radio and TV the movement continues as they address the many facets of social development in our society.
