Smoke Stack

Smokestack hail from Bromyard in the depths of Herefordshire and were formed in the summer of 2006. Bound by their love of rock and blues, sisters Scarlett & Ebony Clay front the band on vocals and lead guitar respectively with Josh Bateman on drums and Dave Whittaker on bass. They are a rocking blues band who have a sound surprisingly more mature than their average age of 20. Writing all their own material, they have built up a solid catalogue of blues rock that showcase their superb talents, tipping their hat to early Led Zeppelin and the glory days of Free. Their live performances are that of solid back-lines, shredding solo's, big vocals and sheer energy and enthusiasm which comes across in spades and is clear for all to see.
Smokestack have been gigging in and around the Herefordshire and Worcestershire areas and have featured at various festivals including Nozstock, Wyeside and Jamstand and have landed a support slot playing at various locations throughout the country.
