All these different incarnations, sounds, and concepts branching out like so many limbs on the SmokeJumpersTexasDotCom tree. It’s all part of what they call “garage rap”. There’s no million dollar studios here, no big producer’s name to slap on the records, no radio gimmicks, and no follow-the-leader mentality. There’s only homegrown, hard-working, starving artists, forced to wear many different hats to make it in this world like anyone else. Guys who work grueling day jobs, raise families, and make music because that’s what they love to do. A do-it-yourself outlook on music making that includes the members controlling every process from beat-making to writing to recording to mixing to mastering to the artwork on the albums themselves.
