SMART KID

“Smart Kid”, has been doing music for roughly 7 years, it was only 4 years back that people noticed he had talent and



pushed him to take it a step further. This 21 year old has an incredible work rate, three mix cd’s deep with another one in



the making and still the hunger has not stopped. All of his music was independently released; his latest mix cd “Better than



Ever” shows his levels, 28 tracks, each of high standards. The mix tape is available to buy from his myspace page through



paypal, or you could also find one of his many followers turned street team and contact them. It took the streets by storm



and has had air play on BBC Asian Network, Kiss 100 and many other pirate radio stations across London. His tracks are



extremely popular leaving fans wanting to hear more. This was reflected when his track “Doin My Fing” made it to the top 10



in the charts on the BBC radio show “Mic Check.” He has also appeared on a wide variety of radio shows to promote himself and



take his music to the next level. He received a great response when appearing on Kiss 100 and also BBC Asian Network to do



live performances. Recently Smart Kid has teamed up with BGZ & Strange to make the hit single “Doin My Thing”.This took the



streets by storm as well as the main stream radio stations. This song is in the Adulthood movie, receiving recognition from



Noel Clarke himself.



Radio Stations

Smart Kid’s music has been played on Kiss 100, BBC Asian Network and many other radio stations, including pirate and internet



based across London. He has had a live phone interview for a radio station in New Zealand who said they have been playing



music from his second mix cd “Expect Da Unexpected vol2” and have been receiving a good response.

TV Appearances

A couple of years ago Smart Kid appeared on Channel U’s Spit TV with his crew back then who were called “Step Steady”. This



is where his name built and he has realised the respect Channel U has in the music scene, especially towards grime. There are



plenty of videos to come to your screen.

Film Appearances

Recently Smart Kid’s latest street smasher “Doing My Fing” has been selected to be used in the movie “Adulthood.” The



tune was picked by Bashy.



Performances

He has performed at many local clubs, bars and did an event for charity last year

“Gig in the park” alongside Lethal Bizzle, Big Narstie, L man and Skinny Man.

His performance was a huge success; this was mainly because a large amount of his fans had heard he was performing and went



specifically to see him. His popularity showed after the performance as after he had left the stage he was mobbed by fans



asking to buy signed copies of his mix tape.
