Who is Smalltown?
Small Town Records, an independent label, was established in 1999 by the SmallTown General, Bacon aka Da Word. He met J-Keys in college and used a beat 4 a talent show made by J-Keys and ever since its been love. Small Town Records is based in Omaha, NE, but a Midwest TAKEOVER is the ultimate goal.
Small Town Records has released 7 albums " Soundtrack 2 Da Streets" & "The Game of Life" chapters 1 & 2. The very 1st Small Town tape and cd wuz stolen and burned to da streets but it wuz a learning experience and it helped us more than hurt us. Bacon The SmallTown General has 3 solo albums done and ready but he will be putting out "Da MidWest Movement" compilation mixtape 1st , wit feat from the Rawest niggas from my city and through out the MURDER MIDWEST.
Small Town Records has several other acts including "Foolish Da Five-Star "G", who brings methodical metaphors and plans to take hip-hop back to tha real. The name speaks for itself with DEATH B4 DISHONOR, who spits the reality of tha streets, the struggles of tha hustle, and the love for tha music.
