The shadow trembled, it moved slowly aside… It broke off from its place so gently that the pale shaft of playful rays hesitated and did not even understand how it managed to get in front of the shadow. Smallman's features appeared, stirred by a sudden, subtle impulse, an ancient beginning rediscovered over and over again which in time has lost and altered its initial meaning…
For a long time now he longed to stop and rest. We did not object and did not accuse him of idleness. Smallman has reached the end of this journey and has found an answer to his questions, asked once and somewhere, which have shaped the character we now know. We are left with the memory of the experience, the feeling of and expectation for new meetings with him. We felt this moment has come and we looked for him again.
Smallman looked into the morning. His eyes, wise in some childlike way, caressed calmly the outlines of the horizon and, finding the pale radiance of the labyrinth's entrance, they stopped. He smiled to himself. The present was awaiting him already. He stepped forward boldly.
