Sledge Bucks sind vier junge Innsbrucker, die sich der musikalischen Freiheit verschrieben haben.

Die Band bewegt sich mit ungezwungener Leichtigkeit zwischen den Genres und verschnürt Anleihen aus (Alternative-)Rock, Pop und Funk zu groovenden Verwöhnpaketen für die Gehörgänge.

Our story: Sledge Bucks came together in February 2005. At first condemned to practise at school we moved to our new band room beneath a church 9 months later in December 2005. Since then we have constantly been writing and arranging our own songs and adding more and more influences to our music.

In February 2006 we participated in "Talentforge", a Band Contest hosted by Kulturcafe Propolis in our hometown Innsbruck (Austria) and won to our own surprise.

The following collaborance with the members of Hotchpotch led to new creative highs. In May we recorded our first Demo-CD including four tracks that show the diversity of our music (and hopefully are fun to listen to).

The cd was presented to the public on June 23 2006 at our release party at the Propolis.

Highligths: Gigs at "Indie Goschn" and "Innwelle" at Hafen Innsbruck, "Showdown in Flames" and "Open Minded" open air festival, Bierstindl as well as our gig at Treibhaus in August 07.
