S.L.an'G. is that jazz funk band that will make yo speakers smell. listening to S.L.an'G. live is more than music ~it's a life experience and a view into it's 5 members souls. Anything can happen anytime S.L.an'G. takes the stage! S.L.an'G.'s sound pays reverence to all of their predecessors, while creating a progressive musical language deeply rooted in improvisational jazz,funk,rock,hip hop & neo-soul.This new sound was born in early 2002 when it's 4 founding members had a vision to funkify the world,expanding funk's possibilities and bringing it's lively tradition back to a mainstream audience. The four brother's of the sun began jamming out tunes producing a small four tune demo that is still in demand all over the world!! even while all of this was going on there was still one thing missing, a last ingredient, a missing element and that was the L.A. percussionist Miguel Ramirez, who has helped to bring this group into it's current form. so bring yo' Big Fat Booty Ass out to the next S.L.an'G. funk yo' mama session!
