Over the past few years, Skud has undergone many line up changes, and in September last year, new vocalist Paul joined to complete the current line up.



With only 3 gigs under their belt, the band landed a support slot with Welsh Ragga’ Metal band Skindred! Since then the band have made a huge in pact on the midlands metal scene.



They take influence from everything between Slayer and Metallica to Hatebreed and Will Haven. Not to mention the fact that they are utter petrol heads in to old skool American muscle cars and sports bikes! Dean even owns his own 1972 Fastback Ford Mustang! In BLACK of course!



Their first demo was recorded at Tree house Studios in Derbyshire with Carl Bown (Laruso, Fightstar) at the helm. Carl managed to pin down the harsh, aggressive sound exactly how the band wanted, something other studios had failed to do in the past!



SKUD take the stage just five ordinary guys, but when they start to play, they're consumed by a gravity which draws the whole room to them: brutal, angry, unpredictable and true. It's only after they've left the stage you realise your nails have cut perfect crescent moons into your clenched fists!



The bands sound is going darker, heavier and faster mixing a heavy hardcore sound with huge solos and metal faces!!!



They are currently booking gigs around the UK so look out for them near you soon.
