Florida born, Georgia bred, music soul, hip-hop head. Classified in the overlooked category, Skinny-C is an intrepid, free-spirited artist who speaks his mind at any given time. He as often been told that he reminds and/or sounds like a certain hip-hop legend, but he just takes it as a compliment and continues to be himself. The only way to be different from everyone one else, is to be yourself, because no one can do that but yourself.so that's exactly what he does. Skinny-C is a street-smart and book smart individual who isn't afraid to show his intelligence regardless of what others may think. Who can he be compared to? No one. Every artist has their own way of expressing themselves, it just so happens that we are in an era where MOST artists choose to express themselves through their "swag", braggadocio, and obsession of materialistic items and disrespect towards women revealing they have no respect for the art and culture of hip hop. Not taking anything away from those guys, instead not giving them credit because it is surely not due unless speaking on the blame of hip hop being in ICU. Skinny chooses to use his voice as a positive outlet with a goal to resurrect hip hop. The concept of originality has been ignored while imitators and "monkey see monkey doers" are being uplifted. However Skinny has too much pride to sale his soul just to be accepted by the mainstream and converted into a radio freak.
