SKEE

Born June 20th 1987 SKEE is a mc coming from the city of Manchester. At 15 16y/o he 1st started spitting/mc'ing/rapping but just doing sets and events like that, never really on the tracks. He decided however after a year of doing sets and spitting whenever he can (under the name R.B) he decided to put the mic down as he was about to become father. 2 years had past and SKEE had been watching the rising talent in manchester such as Wrigley and Shifty and fort he needs back into this scene. So late 2006 he wrote his 1st track that was called Me And You and followed it up with another track called Wifey. These in general got a good feedback apart from the sound quality so this was the time for Skee to work. 6 months on he had been writing quite abit and this was when he decided to put together a promo (promotional cd) and sold it on the streets of Manchester for 2 pound. The cd thos got some bad feedback as he really rushed it. He still managed to sell over 100 of the cds tho abd got a bit of a gd responce. So this was when Skee put pen to paper and started writin some of his best material between may and september. In This Tiem he worked on another Promotional cd called "The Time Is Now Promo. This cd got alot of gd feedback and sold 70 copies on the 1st day which on the streets of manchester is a gd achievement. In The next month or so Skee managed to shift the 200 copies of the cds that were ordered and so had made a mark on the scene. In between the release of the 2 cds Skee had put together a track called "Diary Of A Broken Man." Some people across the UK reckoned the song was one of the biggest they had heard that year in comparison with Dj Ironik So Nice and Stay With Me. This really meant alot to Skee and through this song he new which path to take. He moved away from grime and started writing more hip-hop and meaningful songs instead of ur typical grime track. Since then he has released tracks such as "Wishing, He Dont Wanna, Missing You, and Dont Worry. But dont b lead to think that thats all Skee has put together from then till now. He has smash hits stacked up for his forthcoming mixtapes. Race Against Time vol 1, 2 and 3 and then highly anticipated release of Life Thru My Eyes in 2009. Life Thru My Eyes is Skee forwardin his opinion of the world in to lyrics and this cd is set to make a big impact in not only the manchester music industry, but the uk industry aswell, Skee should also be having his debut single out later year, he is just in two minds to which song he shud use. The single when decided will feature on Channel U, MTV Base and will b released on i-tunes and hopefully all independant record shops throughout the Uk. Atm Skee is working on Race Against Time vol 1 and 2 and Life Thru My Eyes. He is also collecting material for Race Against Time vol 3 And after Life Thru My Eyes is released will b releasin Race Against Time vol 4 5 and 6 shortly after.
