Opposites attract. This seems to be the reason why sweet melodic parts may get along with hard-hitting riffs and hooks so awfully well. At least this opposition works perfectly for Germany's rock combo Sister Dew who are rooted in North-Rhine Westphalia, a region mostly associated with industrial areas and agglomerating cities of concrete and steel.
Sister Dew are a gender mixed formation featuring 3 femmes in front and a pulse-giving and tight male behind the drums. Since 2002, Sister Dew have played more than 100 club and festival gigs all over Germany including Germany's biggest and most well–known Open Air Festivals as well as intimate and exclusive club concerts supporting bands like Australian punk rock legends "Beasts of Bourbon" or German dark rock heroes "Secret Discovery".
By winning several newcomer awards like Newcomer of the year (2006) and participating in support programmes such as John Lennon Talent Award (2005) the band has put their abilities to the test on every occasion. After having sold out the first pressing of their debut "comrades in solitude" (released in 2006), Sister Dew are back on the map featuring a new 3-piece demo in 2009. „Out of Reach", „Great Choice" and „Loan Shark of Bliss" are the first result of a new collaboration with one of Germany's top producers: Dirk Riegner (Guano Apes, HIM etc.). This coaction turned out to be the famous step forward.
Catchy vocal lines – from fragile to violent – meet a groove base like cast concrete. Sister Dew are setting sails towards the future, willing to spread their sound to a continuously growing audience. There'll be no bad condition, no vanity or fear. As long as there's air in their lungs and some plugs in the wall they're ready for big time sensuality.

Gegens�tze ziehen sich an. So auch im Fall der Rockformation Sister Dew aus NRW. Dass melodisch-zuckers��e Parts pr�chtig mit vollem Brett an Hooklines funktionieren, beweist die Combo mit den drei M�dels an der Front und m�nnlichem Fundament an den Drums nun seit gut vier Jahren eindrucksvoll.
Sister Dew haben sich so bis jetzt bei �ber 100 Club- und Festivalauftritten deutschlandweit u.a. bei Bochum Total, Essen Original oder dem Eurocityfestival M�nster einen Namen in der Szene gemacht. Als Sieger des Bochumer Newcomerfestivals, Teilnehmer am John Lennon Talent Award oder beim F�rderprogramm pop Up NRW hat der Vierer seine F�higkeiten immer wieder unter Beweis gestellt.
Nach der ausverkauften Erstpressung des 2006 ver�ffentlichten Debuts „Comrades in Solitude" folgt das neue 3-Track Demo: „Out of Reach", „Great Choice" und „Loan Shark of Bliss" - produziert von Dirk Riegner (u.a. HIM, Guano Apes) und aufgenommen in den renommierten Horus Studios in Hannover. Damit hat die Band nun den entscheidenden Schritt nach vorne gemacht. Eing�ngige Gesangslinien von gef�hlvoll-fragil bis energisch-brachial treffen hier auf ein Groovefundament wie aus gegossenem Stahlbeton.
Sister Dew haben die Segel in Richtung Zukunft gesetzt und arbeiten mit vollem R�ckenwind daran, ihren Sound einer immer breiteren �ffentlichkeit zu pr�sentieren. F�r diese Band gibt es keine schlechte Location, kein schlechtes Publikum, keine Tagesformabh�ngigkeit, keine Ber�hrungs�ngste. Sobald Strom flie�t, wird aus vollem Herzen gnadenlos gerockt.
