Sista Sekunden

The story of Sista Sekunden begins in April 2005. Vocalist Dempe and bassist Tommy had blue mapped for some time and when they found Andy (guitar) and Stefan (drums) the quartet was set. First year crammed in the first demo CDR, the first ten shows, the first full length and a four day tour in Sweden.
The rest of 2006 consisted of more touring, playing and writing of Skyll Inte På Oss - the second full length. Early 2007 the band went into the studio and recorded the 13 songs that ended up as Skyll Inte På Oss, including the song "Bombplan". When Stefan decided to quit in April, the band got their new drummer Julian; a young furious drummer defining the true pace of hardcore with his chops. He did his first tour with Sista Sekunden after rehearsing for one week.
Sista Sekunden were now a locomotive stopping for nothing and thus followed a year with relentless touring in Scandinavia, Germany and Japan. Another recording of four new songs was also done to support the Japan tour.
2008 started off sour. After having to cancel a three week Euro-tour due to the singer getting assaulted in Copenhagen and put into hospital for an equal ammount of time, the band had to overcome the tragedy which they did by recording seven new songs that were released just in time for the second full Euro-tour. The summer went by with yet another Scandinavia tour (this time also incorporating Poland and Balticum) and some festivals. In October and November the four punk brothers went to USA for a five week tour, coast to coast.
2009 held yet another US tour, this time with a few Canada shows, more tours in Sweden and Europe, and finally the writing & rehearsing of the third full length. Meanwhile the two first records were released on cassettes in South East Asia.
2010 started off with recording of the new album, and some one-off shows. Third full length "Åldras Med Stil" was released on May 5th in Sweden, Germany, France, USA, Japan, South East Asia and distributed worldwide. The releaseparty on May 8th attracted 900 people going bananas. More festivals was done during the summer and the fall was packed with tours in Europe, Japan and USA.
As a punk band, Sista Sekunden has always been in control of the records by releasing it on members' own labels: Instigate Records & Dempe Records. However, to be able to conquer the world the band realized it'd be a wize idea to collaborate and has therefore agreed to joint releases with other labels such as: Rock Room Records (Japan), Wasted Sounds (Sweden), Fight For Your Mind (France), P-trash Records (Germany), Soul Rebel (USA), Atonal Microtonal (South East Asia) and more.
