Siri Dyal: Controlled Frenzy
People yearn for something, anything, real to anchor themselves to and often
times never truly do. Shifting from one realm of consciousness to another, they slowly
begin to embrace the chaos and become enveloped in the most carnal and temporal of
senses. Some even become so strong in it they attract others; such is the case with Siri
Dyal, the quartet from Los Angeles, CA consisting of Claudia “Siri D.” Kaleem
(vox),Wes Claggett (guitar), Rob Taylor (bass) and Terance Ervan (drums).
Siri Dyal is currently finishing the recording process for HomoAlienApianism
Volume II, their second full length LP and is looking forward to the opportunity to
tour extensively abroad in promotion of their first single from the record, entitled “I
Don’t Care” under the independent label Sirius Rechords. The song is edgy yet
playful and sure to bring the fever pitch higher than it’s ever been and fans the world
over are highly anticipating the release. Furthermore, the band is all about exclusive
escapism—you won’t find their music on iTunes or anywhere else save
SiriDyal.com—this business model will allow fans the kind of unprecedented access
that they’ve been yearning for.
We R Here Volume I was the band’s initial offering that introduced the world to
their chaotic sound and led to a cross country touring schedule. Two major singles
spawned from this album, “Peace” and “Waiting 4 Me” which tops independent charts
in the states but in Japan as well. A factor to their continued success over the 10+
years they’ve been playing together is, as Siri D. puts it, “A real understanding of each

other, our styles and preferences in the studio and on the road. We’ve added, but
we’ve never subtracted, and that’s what made us be able to do what we’ve done.”
Sirius Rechords, established in 1999, offered the band a rare opportunity: to
control their music the way they wanted to, away from the parasitic relationship that
the major labels were involved in. This also gave them the vision and the inspiration
to be innovative in their approach. Rather than follow the stagnant trends of the
industry and flood the people with free music that couldn’t possibly be appreciated,
they are creating the kind of connection with fans that has been long since lost by
being exclusive in their product launches. “I Don’t Care”, the band’s steamy new
single has an R-rated music video that can only be purchased from their official web
portal SiriDyal.com. Doing business like this creates guaranteed traction and others
are taking notice, evident by their new partnership with Top Music Japan.
With the upcoming release of HomoAlienApianism Volume II, fans can look
forward to more of the raucous energy that’s been present in the past with a brand new
infusion of exclusive content that is far beyond anything they can imagine. “I Don’t
Care”, the single and the music video are available now from SiriDyal.com.
