Sin Remedio

Esta banda representa al todavía poco conocido Movimiento Latino Combativo que actualmente se extiende como la pólvora por California. Nacida en el año 2002, la banda comenzó coexistiendo en el abigarrado panorama de estilos que inundan el Sur de California. Poco a poco fueron decantándose por su personal sonido hardcore. La banda forma parte del movimiento musical anidado en el patio trasero, o dicho de otra forma, son la nueva hornada de músicos crecidos en la trastienda del rock alternativo anglosajón. Sin Remedio está capitaneada por Brenda (voz y batería) y Christy (voz y guitarra), aguerridas rockeras que constituyen el alma de la formación. Completan la banda Alex al bajo y Adrián a la guitarra. Actualmente están embarcados en la promoción de este nuevo trabajo “Border Hoppin’ Hardcore” (“Hardcore Salta Fronteras”), compuesto por doce temas interpretados en castellano e inglés, en el que denuncian su compleja realidad.



Sin Remedio played their first show on May 4th 2002. The band was a motley mix of influences that spawned from the back yard punk scene of Southern California. With various members from several local bands, they struggled to find their sound. The two original front men left the band leaving the vocal responsibilities to Brenda and Christy. The band was a three piece for quite some time, until they recruited the skills of Christy's younger brother Adrian. Now the four of them embark on a musical journey that hopes to enlighten as well as entertain. Their influences span the range of musical history itself, but their sound is transcended through the intensity of "Border Hoppin' Hardcore."
