Sinestesia

The simultaneous perception of two senses is a phsychic phenomena called SINESTESIA.



When two senses interact, new sensations are created: a color becomes warm, a sound metallic. Sinestesia is the name choosen by five musicians for representing their music, a crossover between melodic composition and powerful execution. A singular style, with two marked musical "senses", hard rock and progressive, where the expressive multiplicity of every single artist allows the group to range over a wide spectrum of emotions, from metal to psychedelic, conjugating the richness of the 70's progressive with the present-day experimental sounds.



After an active composition work in studio, which ended up with the demo "Aquarium" in 2003, the first album has been published for Immaginifica, the label directed by Franz Di Cioccio, with the title "Sinestesia". The LP contains eight songs with well-constructed structures, which highligth the arrangement skills of the band, a vocalist with great personality and intense solo moments. Sinestesia are ready to fascinate the imaginers with their music, powerful as rock and dreaming as progressive.



In 2007 SINESTESIA have attended in two main events, the GODS OF METAL festival (June 3rd) and the ROMA ROCK festival (July 21st); above all that, they have played:

at the Allianz Theather (ex Teatro della Luna, Assago (MI)) together with The Musical Box, in date November 7th, 2008 ;

into the compilation "It's Christmas Time", released in date November 14th 2008, in which Sinestesia are present with Happy Xmas (War Is Over) and together with PFM, New Trolls, Fish, Sara Jane Morris and more.

at Rolling Stone, together with Mike Pointer (ex Marillion) in date Februar 6th 2009.

at the fund-raising festival "Insieme Per L'Abruzzo", held in Trieste in date June 3rd 2009.



In 2009 is scheduled the release of the new studio album.



Sinestesia are: Roberto De Micheli (guitars), Alberto Bravin (keyboards), Paolo Marchesich (drums), Alessandro Sala (bass) e Riccardo de Vito (vocals).
