Sin & Crook

Sin & Crook both born & raised in Elkhart,IN have been rhyming since 6th grade!! Yes 6th grade! Crook did a revised version of Black Sheep's "The Choice Is Yours" for the sixth grade D.A.R.E progam in front of the whole sixth grade class! This caught the attention of SIN who had been known to rhyme a little here and there as well! So soon after that Sin & Crook decided to start rhyming together! They recorded their first song which was a revised version of Black Moon's "How Many MC's" on an old tape recorder. Shortly after they recorded the song alot of their classmates started asking for copies of the tape! So they recorded as many as they could and passed them out to everyone who wanted one. Everyone seemed to like the it so they started doing little performances at house parties and things of that nature. But as Sin & Crook got older, they took somewhat of a break from the music for a little while just trying to live life! Sin moved to Florida for awhile trying to get to know his father a little better. While Crook was here doin his thing making beats and working on his Production skills! But when Sin got back from Florida it was right back to business. Sin met a producer of an Independent label called Lebasi Records. Soon after they met Sin ended up recording his first Solo Album Titled "Creative Minds" in 2001 which did really well locally!! Crook was featured on the album as well as Sin's brother Gattmouth. After Sin's contract was up with Lebasi, Sin & Crook decided to do a Mixtape Titled "Def Star Terror City Mixtape" with Gattmouth! It too did pretty well locally! But Sin & Crook decided after the Mixtape it was time to take their music to the next level! So they started their own label Terror City Records. Once they started the label.They recorded their first full length album together titled "The Resume." Soon after they recorded the album they started making alot of noise in the area. They entered a contest which led them to be the first local artists to recieve airplay on Power957 The Hip Hop station.They also won a contest which led them to be the featured artists on another radio station WSMK 99.1 for the whole month of Febuary in 2006. Sin & Crook have since then been featured on Michiana Jamz a local T.V. show hosted by legendary Dj Toby T & another Local T.V. show on Comcast Cable (H20) hosted by Al Boogie. Sin & Crook then started blowing up the hip hop scene.putting on shows all over the area with Power957 The Hip Hop Station. They were the first ever hip hop artists to book Club Fever which is the biggest nightclub in the area. They were breaking attendance records at other venues so they had to get Club Fever to accomodate for their fans. Sin & Crook started to headline the shows and have other local artists open for them. Since then Sin & Crook have opened for mainstream artists such as.Legendary Ice-T,DJ Kid Capri,Rakim,Brother Ali,Crucial Conflict,Speedknot Mobstaz,Twista,DJ Green Latern,Malik Musef,Rick Ross,Afroman,Onyx,Killah Priest of (Wu Tang Clan), Tanya Morgan,Canibus, & More! Sin & Crook have been in the game a minute and have no intentions on slowing down. So be on the lookout for Sin & Crook's New Album titled "The Orientation" a follow up to "The Resume" coming soon!
