Simon Jewell

Simon's un-conventional song structures delicately prod at his ability to spectate life. His contrast of Upbeat, mellow and darker songs show a full variety of emotions. His Raw, intimate lyrics draw the listener into a fresh and original accoustic experience. With a distinctive and soulful voice Simon delivers melodic ballads and songs that are uniquely composed and yet universal in their message and emotional impact on the listener. His strengths and weaknesses are explored and divulged in rhythmic tandum with his curiosity.
After two years extensive gigging including playing in venues such as Whelans, The Village, Crawdaddy & also an irish tour supporting Travega, Simon began work on his Debut EP with Krecording's Andy Knightley who has credited his name to Bell x1, Sinead O'Connor & Damien Dempsey, to name a few. A Track from his Upcoming EP is also featured on the compilation CD entitled "Samhain" and has been played by Ryan Tubbridy on RTE Radio 1.
Simon is gigging extensively in the build up to release of his EP. Including support slots in Whelans, Debarra (clonakilty) and The Roisin Dubh in Galway. He hopes to release the EP independantly in the coming months
