With a glittering career spanning over a decade he's established himself as an ever growing presence on the global circuit. Spending years perfecting his craft under some of the biggest talents in the industry, Silky has emerged as one of the most forward thinking, perceptive and well respected talents on the scene today.



Mentored by the "Godfather of House" himself, Frankie Knuckles and being one of the few DJ/Producers on the planet that inspire him, Silky’s productions are continually supported from some of the biggest names in dance music.

A penchant for the freshest future sounds of the underground; a desire to forge new directions in contemporary House music and roots in early Chicago House & Detroit Techno are showcased in Silky�s dynamic releases and transcendental DJ sets – weaving deep hypnotic underground House, electrifying Techno & Tribal grooves - attracting rave reviews from clubbers, international music aficionados, peers, and features in dance music's leading magazines such as M8.



Silky produces under various guises exploring the vast musical realm within his elements, whilst a more vocal sound can be heard under the name SEMINAL GROOVES (alongside Primo), the more deeper electronic influenced sound can be heard under the names SILKY & VANDERMEER (alongside Vandermeer), OUTSOURCE (alongside Nitin Kalyan & Vandermeer) and of course under his own name.



After a hectic tour schedule last year, Silky is back in the studio working on his burgeoning discography - teeming with progressive production, successful collaborations and select remixes for artists including Marshall Jefferson, Gary Blade, Manuela Panizzo, Justin Michael, Art & Pleasure, Gina Rene, Matt Caseli and Random Soul.



Exciting new projects are due this year including a monumental collaboration between Seminal Grooves, Theresa Griffin and Grammy Award winner Frankie Knuckles. Other upcoming projects include the launch of IMPRINT AUDIO, a Deep House & Techno Record Label showcasing the releases brought forth by SILK & VANDERMEER and also various other artists. Two new remixes this month one for Steve Porter's (voted America's Best DJ) PH Recordings label and another for London's deep house label Muak Music.



A successful radio show, and a resident for one of the hottest club nights in London - Rhythmatic (currently residing at THE EGG nightclub) , and regularly featured on the same bill alongside the who's who of House & Techno, names such as Guy Gerber, Gregor Threshor, Italoboyz, Peace Division, Scarlett Ettiene, Simon Baker, Gorge (8bit), Kreon, Glimpse, Lemos, Spencer Parker, Luca Bachetti, Argy, Kabale Und Liebe are just a few. Silky also frequently guests world famous clubs such as Ministry of Sound (London), Giant (California), CiRCA (Toronto) alongside playing the Amnesia (Ibiza) & Cavo Paradiso (Mykonos) World Tours in London. With ongoing tours at prestigious clubs throughout the U.K, Asia, Europe, North America & Australasia - Silky continues to show the world that his next decade in music will be even better than the first!
