Sikztah is an emblematic figure of the Hungarian electronic music scene and is considered a pioneer in developing and strenghtening the local underground hiphop and house, breakbeat and drumandbass culture.
He has been an active event organizer in his hometown, Győr since 1991. In 1994 he was among the first three at the Technics DMC Battle. From 1998 he was resident Dj at the legendary Stargate later Zoom Club and working together with Palotai and Naga at the Tilos parties back then. He started his own party series The Etiket in 1999 with a smaller audience and throughout the years it grew into a larger event counting several thousands of people.
In 2000 he started a his open air party now known as DumDum. In 2001 he opened Mecca Café, branded with the name of his company, which was open for the next two years in the heart of the city, constantly offering hiphop/ breaks/ dumandbass/ house parties and live acts. Some of his works include the biggest B-Boy & Graffiti Battle in 2001/ 2002, SummerStylewarz, the Complex/ LoveBreaks/ SoundClash series or the toughest and only free breaks weekend of the country, NapHold Minifest or Boombox that he put together with his buddy Behnam active in Budapest and his hobby night, Vertigo Electric that is along with The Etiket hosted by one of the most exclusive clubs of West Hungary.
His works as a producer are being played by names like Hybrid, General Midi, a Hexadecimal, Stefan Anion or Tony Tay. His first video clip "We Gotta Groove" that was published by Ayra Recordings was on top of the MTV Top Selection and the Viva Club Charts for weeks. From 2010 his performances are being arranged by the Hairy Agency in Hungary and the French Sun Recorder abroad. He lives his mark in big cities like London, Paris, Amsterdam, Prague and Bucharest and more. In the meantime his name can be found among the artists at Balaton Sound or the Sziget Party Arena, Volt or Hegyalja Festival. In the years 2008-2009 Mecca Events was voted top 10 among event organizers by the representative poll of soundhead.hu and Sikztah got noble place in the best Hungarian Dj category.
Music-wise by today he's heading on midtempo, his sets are created in an absolute freestyle point of view and are flowing in the most dynamic way, in complete musical eclecticity. He's a technical perfectionist, bringing sophistication and precise chaos to the same level he doesn't give much of a chance for anyone to get bored.
